Abstract: Burn injuries are a critical medical emergency requiring prompt and effective evaluation to minimize morbidity and mortality. This seminar provides an in-depth exploration of burn assessment and management, covering key topics such as burn classification, depth determination, total body surface area (TBSA) estimation, and initial resuscitation strategies. Emphasis will be placed on the use of evidence-based protocols, including the Parkland formula for fluid resuscitation, wound care techniques, infection prevention, and pain management.
