Abstract
Breast lumps are a common clinical presentation that require a systematic and multidisciplinary approach for accurate diagnosis and management. The evaluation begins with a thorough history and physical examination, followed by appropriate imaging based on patient age and clinical suspicion, Triple assessment, comprising clinical evaluation, imaging, and tissue sampling (fine-needle aspiration, core needle biopsy), forms the cornerstone of diagnosis. The aim is to differentiate benign from malignant lesions to guide appropriate intervention. Early detection and accurate characterization of breast lumps are crucial for effective treatment and improved patient outcomes. This abstract outlines a structured diagnostic and management pathway to optimize care for patients presenting with breast lumps.
